Lee Pucker, MSc., PMC – President

Lee brings more than 25 years experience to ForwardLink Consulting in the development, management, marketing and production of embedded signal processing and advanced wireless systems:

• As CTO and VP Corporate Development at Spectrum Signal Processing Inc (SSPI), Lee drove product and technology strategy for embedded wireless systems, leveraging a portfolio of software defined radio technologies to support Tier 1 customers in satellite communications (SATCOM), radio frequency identification (RFID), commercial telecom and defense communications (C4ISR).
  
• As Principle Engineer assigned to the Applied Technology Division of ITT Industries, Lee provided technical leadership and program management on multiple defense radio programs, and worked closely with business development on customer relations and proposal development to capture several new programs.
  
• As Associate Principle Engineer leading the embedded systems team at Computer Sciences Corporation, Lee had profit and loss responsibility for multiple programs, and worked closely with marketing to create collateral illustrating the technical capabilities of the embedded systems team and defining engagement models that helped productized the team’s service offerings.
  
• As a Senior Engineer for the US Department of Defense, Lee was involved in multiple engineering projects at increasing levels of responsibility, receiving several awards and one patent
  

Through these and other roles, Lee has developed a keen understanding of the “business of technology”, allowing him to analyze, break down, and present complex technical and business level topics in a manner that gains understanding from both technical and non-technical customers at all organizational levels. This ability has allowed Lee to directly support capturing over 30 new “design-ins” in the past 10 years, representing production revenue in excess of $100M (USD).

Lee has authored more than 50 papers and has presented numerous tutorials and workshops on technical and business topics in embedded signal processing and advanced wireless systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, a Master of Science Degree from The Johns Hopkins University and is Pragmatic Marketing Certified. Lee has served on the Board of Directors of Spectrum Signal Processing (USA) and the SDR Forum, has more than three years experience as an executive officer of a publicly traded company, including experience with corporate disclosure in compliance with the TSX and NASDAQ rulings.
